Gentlemen...
Friday night was a fantastic team effort and evidence of what we are capable of when we execute and play together. Your efforts were inspiring and we are fired up as a coaching staff for our second round game @ Sheldon. Many of you were part of our trip and win against Sheldon last year. I don't have to tell you (but I will!) that they will be fired up to play us again. They are a well coached team with playoff experience, and not to mention, the defending state champions. However, they are not the team they were last year and they are beatable. It will take another all-around team effort combined with a great week of preparation and focus. I am very excited for this opportunity and I know you are, as well. Monday's practice will be @ 2:55 p.m.; meet in Coach K's room for film and some chalk talk. We will do a recovery workout following film, so bring workout clothes. There is no school Tuesday, and both the boys and girls soccer teams play Tuesday night. With all of us in the playoffs, practice time will be a little erratic due to field availability. I should have the week's schedule mapped out by Monday's practice. See you tomorrow!
